This is the first time in and now it won't be the last time I eat here that's for sure ! The breakfast was so good ! Everything on my plate was exceptional! The pancakes were the best I have ever had and this is not a exaggeration. Go to country cafe in Lockeford you will not be disappointed in the food or service I promise.
My server was so kind I'm sorry for I forgot her name but she helped me with my order with kind suggestions with prompt and courteous service thank you Country Cafe I'll be back! -

Plain Jane country cafe with no-nonsense service and zero ambiance. I came for the Greek food (chicken gyro and Greek salad). They delivered. Scrumptious sandwich, tender chicken, amazing tzatziki sauce, and crispy-soft pita. Next time I will order the salad dressing on the side, otherwise fresh and delicious.

Do yourself a big favor and keep on driving to "Burger King" next door!
I had a build- an-omelet, cost $1.00 per item = $5.00. Plus they added $7.99 for a 3 egg omelet= $15.99. The sausage was more like an old cut up pork chop. This was the worst, burnt, slop I have ever had! The hash browns were UNDER cooked. A breakfast for 2 was $29.88. Unbelievable that this place is in business. -

We had a wonderful lunch. Great double service from Kathleen and young Georgie. Going to have to go back. Observed other people's orders that looked pretty awesome also.

This was our first visit here. Clean, down home and friendly cafe.
My husband did not like the breakfast sausage patty. I tasted it and it tasted like unseasoned ground pork. I think our server was watching. She came right over to see if we were happy with the food. He said next time he would order the linguica because the sausage wasn't good. In about 2 minutes a plate of fried linguica appeared at no extra charge. My food was cooked correctly. My only problem was trying get a water refill.
We will definitely give this cafe another visit.
